Tiānhuā Cáizǐ 天花才子 (“The Talented Child of Heavenly Flowers”) is a Qīng-dynasty pen name used by the author of KR4k0075 Hòu Xīyóu Jì 後西游記. The name was used by multiple Qīng authors across different publications, making attribution to a single historical individual uncertain. No confident identification with a named historical person has been established in the secondary literature, and no CBDB record exists for this pseudonym. The author of the Hòu Xīyóu Jì is presumed to have been a Jiāngnán literatus of the seventeenth century with Buddhist learning, based on the content and frame of the novel.
