Mìān Rújǐn 蔤菴如巹 (b. 1425, death year unrecorded), Míng-dynasty Línjì-school 臨濟宗 Yángqí-branch 楊岐派 Chán monk, dharma-heir of Kōnggǔ Jǐnglóng 空谷景隆 (1393–1470). Native of Jiāhé 嘉禾 (Jiāxīng 嘉興, Jiāngnán), lay surname Jiāng 姜. Hào Mìān 蔤菴.
Initially studied under Héng Zōngjì 衡宗繼 at the Zhēnrú sì 真如寺 in Jiāhé. At Jǐngtài 1 (1450), aged 26 sui, travelled to the Xiūjí shān 修吉山 near Hángzhōu to study under Kōnggǔ Jǐnglóng, under whose instruction he received the dharma-seal; subsequently returned to Jiāhé to serve as zhùchí 住持 of the Zhēnrú sì. After Kōnggǔ’s death (1470) Rújǐn turned to Pure Land practice; later studied under Wúzhù 無住 and had a minor awakening hearing crows calling in a courtyard tree.
Two major works. First, the Zī mén jǐng xùn xù jí 緇門警訓續集 (“Supplementary Compilation of Warning Instructions for the Black-Robed”), completed at Jiāhé in Chénghuà 6 (1470), originally in 2 juan; preface by Kōnggǔ Jǐnglóng the same year, the final year of Kōnggǔ’s life. The text subsequently expanded to its received 10-juan form (KR6q0100 T48 n2023) by later editorial hands in the late Ming. Second, the Chánzōng zhèngmài 禪宗正脈 (“Orthodox Veins of the Chán Lineage”) in 10 juan, completed in Hóngzhì 2 (1489), a major Ming Línjì lineage-compendium (KR6q0014).
Works in the Kanripo corpus: KR6q0014 Chánzōng zhèngmài 禪宗正脈 (10 juan); KR6q0100 Zī mén jǐng xùn 緇門警訓 (10 juan, T48 n2023).
