Yáo Shàoyú 姚紹虞 (fl. 1671, 清), zì Zhǐ’ān 止庵 (and consequently often cited as 姚止庵), was an early-Kāngxī physician of Qiántáng 錢塘 (modern Hángzhōu, Zhèjiāng). His one transmitted work is the Sùwèn jīng zhù jié jiě 素問經注節解 in nine juan (KR3ea005), an abridged re-exposition of the Huángdì nèijīng Sùwèn with Wáng Bīng’s commentary, dated by its prefaces to Kāngxī xīnhài 康熙辛亥 (1671). His arrangement of the eighty-one pian into 內篇 (diagnostic / therapeutic) and 外篇 (cosmological) reflects an early-Qīng tendency to read the Sùwèn primarily as a clinical text. Biographical details beyond his Qiántáng residence and the date of the work are not preserved.
