Jiāng Tèlì 姜特立 (b. 1125, Bāngjié 邦傑, hào Méishān 梅山), of Lìshuǐ 麗水 (modern Zhèjiāng). Father Jiāng Shòu 姜綬 died in martyrdom defending Nánjīng against the Jīn in Jìngkāng (1126–1127); on yīn (shadow-privilege) basis Jiāng Tèlì entered office. Xiàozōng summoned him to Tàizǐ chūnfāng (Crown Prince’s Eastern Palace) as a tutor; reached Zhèdōng mǎbùjūn fùzǒngguǎn and Qìngyuǎnjūn jiédùshǐ. Placed in the Sòngshǐ Nìngxìng zhuàn (Sycophants Treatise) for his attachment to Guāngzōng’s princely residence and the Hán Tuōzhòu faction; condemned by court ministers but a respected poet whose work was admired by Hán Yuánjí 韓元吉 and Lù Yóu 陸游.
