Vasumitra 婆須密 (also 世友 Shìyǒu, “Friend-of-the-World”; lifedates uncertain, fl. first–second century CE in Gandhāra), Indic Sarvāstivāda Abhidharma master, traditionally counted among the four great Sarvāstivādin teachers of the Kaniṣka era and named as a senior figure (often “elder”) in the Sarvāstivāda school. He appears in the prefatory genealogy of [[KR6b0069|Chūyào jīng 出曜經 (T212)]] as the kinsman of 法救 Dharmatrāta, the compiler of the Udānavarga whose work T212 translates. He is the conventional author of the Zūnpó Xū Mì púsà suǒjí lùn 尊婆須蜜菩薩所集論 (T1549).
