Sūn Yīyuán 孫一元 (1484–1520), zì Tàichū 太初, hào Tàibái shānrén 太白山人 (after Tàibái shān 太白山 in Shǎnxī where he dwelled). Self-styled Qínrén (Shǎnxī person); some traditions identify him as a descendant of Ānhuà Wáng (Prince Ānhuà, the executed 1510 rebel). Did not enter office. Wandered the empire: from Tàibái into Huá, into Héng (south), east to Dài (Tàishān), south into Wú. With Liú Lín (劉麟), Wú Chōng 吳珫, Lù Kūn 陸崑, Lóng Ní 龍霓 styled Tiáoxī wǔ yǐn 苕溪五隠 (Five Recluses of Tiáoxī, at Chángxīng). In late life married into the Shī family and died at Wúxīng (Húzhōu). Mùbiǎo by Liú Lín. Liú Lín’s preface in KR4e0155 Qīnghuì jí references their close exchange. Zhèng Shànfū (鄭善夫)‘s preface to the Tàibái shānrén màngǎo dates Jiājìng wùyín (1518); after Sūn’s death, Zhèng compiled and printed the collection. Zhū Yízūn’s Shīhuà says Sūn’s verse-craft is bànxiāng zài Huáng Tíngjiān (his incense-thread is on Huáng Tíngjiān). Míngshǐ Wényuàn zhuàn.
