Mid-Míng 明 scholar of Nányáng 南陽 (modern Hénán). Active in the early Jiājìng era (1520s). Compiler of the Huánshān yígǎo KR4d0452 — a 2-juàn gathered-fragments collection of the Yuán-period historian Yáng Huàn 楊奐 (1186–1255), whose original 60–120-juàn corpus had been almost entirely lost. The Sìkù editors specifically praise Sòng Tǐngzuǒ’s editorial method: each piece in the yígǎo is annotated with its provenance (which book it was gleaned from, which person preserved it, or where the stone inscription is located) — a level of philological care characteristic of substantial mid-Míng scholarship. The compilation also includes a Kǎosuì lüè (Brief Chronological Examination, i.e. niánpǔ) and an appended fùlù of biographical sketches. No firm CBDB record located.
