Chángluò Zōngzé 長蘆宗賾 (also transmitted as 宗頤, DILA primary form; lifedates unrecorded, active late 11th and early 12th centuries), Northern-Sòng Yúnmén-school 雲門宗 Chán monk, hào Cíjué 慈覺 and Yuánjí 圓極; compiler of the foundational Sòng monastic code Chányuàn qīng guī 禪苑清規 (KR6q0136) and a key figure in the 11th–12th-century Chán-Pure-Land syncretic movement. Lay surname Sūn 孫, native of Xiāngyáng 襄陽 (Húběi).

Ordained at age 29 at the Zhēnzhōu Chángluò sì 真州長蘆寺 under Fǎxiù 法秀. When Fǎxiù departed and Yìngfū 應夫 (DILA A021069) succeeded as abbot, Zōngzé completed his Chán training and received dharma-transmission from Yìngfū, subsequently succeeding Yìngfū as abbot of Chángluò — whence his epithet Chángluò. Later held the abbacy of the Zhēndìng fǔ Shífāng Hóngjì chányuàn 真定府十方洪濟禪院 from Chóngníng 2 (1103).

  • Chányuàn qīng guī 禪苑清規 (KR6q0136, 10 juan, compiled Chóngníng 2 = 1103) — the foundational Sòng monastic code, predecessor to Déhuī’s later KR6q0102 Chì xiū Bǎizhàng qīngguī;
  • Liánhuā shèng huì lù wén 蓮華勝會錄文 (Yuányòu 4 = 1089) — the document founding a Pure Land fellowship on the Lúshān Báilián shè 廬山白蓮社 model;
  • Shuǐlù yí wén 水陸儀文 (Shàoshèng 3 = 1096, 4 juan) — water-and-land rites manual;
  • Zé chánshī jiè xǐ miàn wén 賾禪師誡洗麵文 (Yuánfú 3 = 1100) — an admonition on noodle-washing;
  • Wěi jiāng jí 葦江集 — his collected poetry and prose;
  • Zuò chán zhēn 坐禪箴 — short instructional text on seated meditation;
  • Quàn xiào wén 勸孝文 — 120 short essays promoting filial piety.

Dharma-heirs include Hóngjì Qióng 洪濟瓊, Běijīng Zhào 北京照, and seven others.
