崔丞相 Cuī chéngxiàng
A Koryŏ-dynasty Korean prime minister (姓崔) who wrote to the Southern-Sòng Tiāntái master 法照 Huìyán Fǎzhào requesting Buddhist instruction, demonstrating the broad East-Asian reception of Fǎzhào’s teaching even before the formal printing of his Fǎhuá jīng sāndàbù dújiào jì (KR6d0062) in 1256. Identity beyond the surname Cuī 崔 and ministerial office is not firmly established.
