Early Qīng 清 high official and Hànlín administrator of Manchu lineage. Kuldena (Manchu, sinicized 庫勒納). Lifedates not securely recorded; floruit Kāngxī 康熙 era. Held the office of Sì shū jiǎng zhāng 四書講章 director and was the senior named zǒng cái 總裁 (“Director-General”) of the Kāngxī-era imperial daily-lecture (rì jiǎng 日講) commentary commissions on the Sì shū and the Shū jīng. Together with 葉方藹 (Yè Fāngǎi, 1629–1682) he supervised the compilation of the Rì jiǎng Shū jīng jiě yì 日講書經解義 (KR1b0045) — the imperial daily-lecture text on the Shàngshū — between Kāngxī 17 / 1678 (II.2, formal commission) and Kāngxī 19 / 1680 (IV.12, imperial preface). The work was printed and promulgated to officials throughout the empire as the official Kāngxī-court statement of Shàngshū doctrine.
