Zhāng Shìpèi 張士佩 (1531–1609), Wàn-lì-era Sìchuān xúnfǔ (Sichuan Governor) and editor of the definitive 81-juǎn recension of Yáng Shèn (楊愼)‘s Shēngān jí (KR4e0171). The compilation was formed by selecting from Yáng’s enormous bǐjì corpus (Dānqiān lù, Tányuàn tíhú and others) plus the biéjí: 11 juǎn of fù and miscellaneous prose; 29 juǎn of poetry; 41 juǎn of zájì (selected miscellaneous-notes).
