Zhāng Zhìchún 張志淳 (1457–1538), Jìnzhī 進之, hào Nányuán 南園. Originally a Jiāngníng 江寧 (Nanjing) man; his lineage was resettled to the Yúnnán Jīnchǐ Guard 金齒衛 military register in the early Míng, so he was treated as a Yǒngchāng 永昌 (modern Bǎoshān 保山) native. Jìnshì of Chénghuà jiǎchén (1484). Reached Hùbù yòu shìláng 戶部右侍郎 (Vice Minister of Revenue) under the Zhèngdé and Jiājìng courts. Retired to Yǒngchāng and there composed his Nányuán màn lù 南園漫錄 (KR3j0155) in imitation of Sòng bǐjì by Hóng Mài and Luó Dàjīng. His son Zhāng Hán 張含 was a literatus famous in his own right. Zhāng was a key figure in the early-16th-century introduction of Jiāngnán literary culture to the Yúnnán frontier elite.
