Compiler of the [[KR5a0318|Tàihuá Xīyí zhì 太華希夷志]] (DZ 306), a two-juan biography of Chén Tuán 陳摶 (Xīyí xiānshēng 希夷先生; d. 989) of Huáshān 華山. Zhāng Lù 張輅 (hào Nèzhāi 訥齋) signs the work as “Dēngshì láng Hézhōngfǔ zhīshì Nèzhāi Zhāng Lù” 登仕郎河中府知事訥齋張輅 — a zhīshì 知事 (administrative clerk) in the Hézhōng 河中 prefecture (modern Yǒngjì 永濟, Shānxī), close to Huáshān, where (according to his own preface) he compiled the biography from diverse sources during the leisure of his official duties. The signed preface is dated 1314, placing him in the Yuán Yánjǐ 延祐 era under Rénzōng 仁宗. CBDB returns multiple homonymous Zhāng Lù; none can be matched with confidence to this Yuán-period clerical figure. No other works survive under his name. Schipper & Verellen, The Taoist Canon 2:1107, identify him simply as “an administrative clerk in Jìnníng prefecture, not far from Huáshān.”
