Zhāng Míngfèng 張鳴鳳 (fl. late Wànlì era; fl. 1613) was a Wàn-lì-era yúdì (topographical) writer. The principal CBDB candidates 130592 (1465–1522) and 123174 are date-incompatible with the firmly-dated Wànlì 41 (1613) prefaces of the Guìshèng and Guìgù, his principal works (KR2k0087); a confident CBDB match has not been established. The Sìkù tíyào also catalogues his Xīqiān zhù 西遷註 (a commentary on the HànshūXīqiān” passage) elsewhere. The Sìkù tíyào’s own typographical inversion of his name as 張鳳鳴 (in the KR2k0054 tíyào) is preserved in the Wényuāngé text but does not affect the consensus correct form. He is cited by the Sìkù compilers as the principal late-Míng model for the documentary-anthology míngshèng genre — Zhū Yízūn’s Rìxià jiùwén and Dǒng Sīzhāng’s Wúxìng bèizhì both follow his editorial pattern.
