Zhāng Qíxián 張齊賢 (943–1014), Shīliàng 師亮, posthumous title Wéndìng 文定. Native of Cáozhōu 曹州 (modern Shāndōng), moved with his family to Luòyáng 洛陽 in youth and was thereafter identified with the Luòyáng jìnshēn (capped-and-girdled = gentry) class. Jìnshì of Tàipíng xīngguó 2 (977). One of the longest-serving senior officials of the early Northern Sòng: held chief-ministerial (Tóng zhōngshū ménxià píngzhāngshì 同中書門下平章事) office twice under Zhēnzōng, separated by interludes of provincial command. Notable as one of the most aggressive Sòng frontier strategists against the Khitan Liáo. Final retirement as Sīkōng 司空 zhìshì. Biography in Sòng shǐ 265. CBDB id 183 records the lifedates 943–1014.

His one surviving prose work is the KR3l0025 Luòyáng jìnshēn jiùwén jì 洛陽搢紳舊聞記, composed in 1005 during a Qīngzhōu governorship and drawing on Luòyáng gentry oral memory of the HòuLiáng / HòuTáng era. He is also known for a small surviving body of and for memorials on frontier policy preserved in the Sòng huìyào jígǎo.
