Péng Dìngqiú 彭定求 (1645–1719), zì Qínzhǐ 勤止, hào Yǒngzhēn shānrén 詠眞山人 / Nányún 南畇 — Kāngxī era zhuàngyuán (top-of-class jìnshì, 1670), Hanlin academician, principal editorial hand on the Quán Táng shī 全唐詩 (the imperial Tang-poetry compilation, 1707) and the Pèiwén yùnfǔ 佩文韻府. Native of Chángzhōu 長洲 (Sūzhōu, Jiāngsū). Like his contemporary Chén Tíngjìng (cf. 陳廷敬), Péng combined orthodox-Confucian high office with private interest in Daoist yǎngshēng: he was the steward of the family’s manuscript copy of the Zhēn quán 真詮 inner-alchemical anthology that his father had received in his youth, and re-engraved it in Kāngxī gēngyín = mid-winter 1710 (KR5i0074) under his hào Yǒngzhēn shānrén.
