Péng Guīnián 彭龜年 (1142–1206), Zǐshòu 子壽, of Qīngjiāng 清江 (modern Jiāngxī), jìnshì of Qiándào 5 (1169). A pupil of Zhāng Shì 張栻 and Zhū Xī 朱熹, he served as yòushǐ 右史 (Right Recorder) and tutor to the future Níngzōng in the latter’s princely residence. Famous for repeated face-to-face remonstrations against Guāngzōng’s refusal to attend court at Chónghuágōng during the 1190s filial-piety crisis. Aligned with the Dàoxué faction; was demoted alongside Zhū Xī when both petitioned against Hán Tuōzhòu 韓侂胄 in 1196. Restored to office; retired with Bǎomógé dàizhì; posthumously honored as Zhōngsù 忠肅. Sòngshǐ j. 393. CBDB id 14833. Author of KR4d0251 Zhǐtáng jí.
