Late-Yuán / early-Míng ritual scholar and historian; native of Tiāntái 天台 (Zhèjiāng). Dàzhāng 大章; hào Shǐfēng 始豐. A reluctant servant of the new dynasty: declined repeated summons under Hóngwǔ, eventually serving as Education Officer of Hángzhōu prefecture and as principal compiler of the founding-Míng Dà Míng jí lǐ (KR2m0028) of 1370. He also composed a lost Dà Míng yìshǐ and the surviving local-history fragment Yǒngjiā fēngsú jì 永嘉風俗記. His prose collection is the Shǐfēng gǎo 始豐稿 (in Sìkù, KR4d). CBDB confirms 1318–1400 (catalog meta gives 1318 – ca. 1400, consistent).
