Xú Shǒuzhēn 徐守真 (fl. late Kāngxī era), Qīng literatus of Jīnchuān 金川 (place-name not uniquely resolvable; possibly the Jīnchuān district of An-hui or another Jīnchuān locality). Wrote the preface to the Jíjiù xiānfāng 急救仙方 obstetric-emergency section of 孫偉 (Sūn Wěi)‘s Liángpéng huìjí jīngyàn shénfāng (KR3ed147). The preface develops a sustained moral-economic argument that standard pregnancy-and-childbirth formularies have failed the rural and poor population because of cumbersome / rare / expensive ingredient requirements.
