Xú Bō 徐波

Late-Míng Sūzhōu (Wú-mén) lay literatus; author of the Xīnjīng zhù tící preface (No. 552-A) to 大慧 Dàhuì’s Bōrě xīnjīng jìjué (KR6c0171), dated Chóngzhēn 14 (1641), eighth month, twenty-third day. The preface is notable for its poignant late-Míng reference to political “world-desolation” three years before the fall of the dynasty.
