Yuán-dynasty Daoist editor and jízhù 集註 (“collected glosses”) compiler, hào Xuányángzǐ 玄陽子 (“Master of Mysterious Yáng”), active c. 1330–1344. Known chiefly for two paired jízhù editions of foundational Daoist scriptures:
- Jiǔtiān yīngyuán léishēng pǔhuà tiānzūn yùshū bǎojīng jízhù 九天應元雷聲普化天尊玉樞寶經集註 (DZ 100, colophon 1333) — collected glosses on the Thunder-rite scripture DZ 16, with glosses attributed to Bó Yùchán 白玉蟾, Zhāng Dàolíng 張道陵, Zhāng tiānjūn 張天君, and Lǚ Dòngbīn 呂洞賓.
- Tàishàng xuánlíng běidǒu běnmìng yánshēng zhēnjīng zhù 太上玄靈北斗本命延生經注 (DZ 752, 1334) — a related commentary on the Běidǒu jīng, based on revelations attributed to Zǐtóng dìjūn 梓潼帝君.
Both works were “found” and printed by Xú, according to the colophon by the thirty-ninth Celestial Master Zhāng Sìchéng 張嗣成 (d. 1344). Both commentaries appear to be based on divinatory-dream (jiàngbǐ 降筆) revelation; Xú is thus a key figure in the late-Yuán Shénxiāo fújī 扶乩 commentarial revelation tradition. No CBDB record was found.
