Déguāng 德光
Southern-Sòng Línjì-school Chán master, dharma-heir of Dàhuì 宗杲 Zōnggǎo; styled Fózhào 佛照 by imperial bestowal. Abbot at Yùwáng shān 育王山 and Jìngshān 徑山. Famously summoned by emperor Xiàozōng for repeated audiences and dharma-talks at court, an exchange anthologised in the Dìwáng wèndào lù selection of Xiānjué zōngshèng (KR6q0052).
