Dōngyáng Déhuī 東陽德煇 (also transmitted as 德輝; lifedates and native place unrecorded), Yuán-dynasty Línjì-school 臨濟宗 Yángqí-branch 楊岐派 Chán monk, dharma-heir of Huìjī Yuánxī 晦機元熙 (1238–1319, DILA A008284). Shì Guǎnghuì chánshī 廣慧禪師. Known through his documented service as zhùchí 住持 of the Bǎizhàng mountain monastery in Hóngzhōu 洪州 and his editorial responsibility for the authoritative Yuán monastic code.

Held the Bǎizhàng abbacy from Tiānlì 2 (1329) under the Yuán Míngzōng. In Zhìshùn 1 (1330) rebuilt the fǎtáng 法堂 (dharma-hall) of the Bǎizhàng monastery. In Zhìyuán 1 (1335) under the Shùnzōng emperor received the imperial commission to re-edit and consolidate the Bǎizhàng qīngguī 百丈清規 monastic code, working with Xiàoyǐn Dàxīn 笑隱大訢 (another senior Yuán Chán abbot) as textual reviewer; the Chì xiū Bǎizhàng qīngguī 勅修百丈清規 (KR6q0102, T48 n2025) was promulgated throughout the realm in Zhìyuán 2 (1336) and remained the authoritative monastic code for Chinese Chán institutions through the Yuán, Míng, and Qīng dynasties.

Recorded dharma-heirs include the Japanese monk Chūgan Engetsu 中巖圓月 (1300–1375), who brought Déhuī’s teaching to Japan in the mid-14th century and subsequently became a major figure in the Rinzai gozan 五山 establishment.
