In the Qiánlóng period, over four years, transcribed-and-supplemented (彙補 huìbǔ) SòngYuánMíng commentaries on Dìguān’s Sìjiào yí into the comprehensive Sìjiào yí zhù huìbǔ fǔhóng jì 四教儀註彙補輔宏記 (KR6d0174, X57n0980, 10 juan). The work was finalised in Kāngxī 44 (1705) — Xìngquán’s own preface — but the most extensive editorial activity occurred in the Qiánlóng era. In the Jiāqìng era it was supplemented-and-corrected by the lay-disciple Qián Yīān 錢伊菴居士; in the Guāngxù era it was systematically arranged-and-printed by Dìxián fǎshī 諦閑法師.
