Wéiyán 惟衍
Southern-Sòng Yángqí-branch Línjì Chán master, styled Shífān Wéiyán 石帆惟衍. Per DILA A021455: dharma-heir of 普巖 Yùn’ān (Dàochǎngyán) Pǔyán (1156–1226), later abbot of Tiāntóng 天童. His principal recorded disciple is Zǐtán 子曇 (A015443). Named as one of three co-editors (shìzhě 侍者) of his master’s yǔlù (KR6q0313); thus one of the two most substantial heirs of the Yùn’ān branch, alongside Xūtáng Zhìyú 虛堂智愚. Lifedates unrecorded.
