慧堅戒山
Huìjiān Jièshān (Japanese: Kaizan)
A Japanese Vinaya-school (律宗) monk of the Edo period, active at the Húdōng Ānyǎng-lǜsì 湖東安養律寺. He is known for editing and arranging the Edo printing (1686, Zhēnxiǎng / Jōkyō 3) of Língyào 靈耀’s Yàoshī jīng zhíjiě 藥師經直解 (KR6i0056), supplying a carving-preface and marginal punctuation. The print is a witness to the seventeenth-century importation of Ming–Qīng Chinese commentarial works by Japanese Vinaya circles. Lifedates unrecorded.
