Late-Míng Cáodòng 曹洞 Chán master, shǒuzuò 首座 under 元來 Wúyì Yuánlái (1576–1630) at Bóshān; recorder (lù 錄) of the six-juan digest Bóshān Wúyì dàshī yǔlù jíyào 博山無異大師語錄集要 (KR6q0366; Jiāxīng J27 no. 197, Xuzangjing X72 no. 1436 preserves only the preface apparatus) and compiler (jí 集) of Yuánlái’s widely-circulated practice manual Bóshān cānchán jǐngyǔ 博山參禪警語 (KR6q0148; X63 n1257).
