Late-Míng / early-Qīng Cáo-dòng-school Chán monk and prolific Lǐngnán literatus; lay name Fāng Línzhǐ 方麟趾 (also 方顓愷), monastic name Chéngjiù 成鷲 (with the many / hàoJīshān 迹刪 / 跡刪, Guāngjiù 光鷲, Jíshān 即山, Dōngqiáo 東樵 / Dōngqiáo shānrén 東樵山人). 15 April 1637 – 29 November 1722, age 86. Native of Pānyú 番禺 (Guǎngdōng). Active as abbot and teacher in Guǎngdōng monasteries through the late seventeenth century into the early Kāngxī decades, and a prolific literary author (the Xiánzhìtáng jí 咸陟堂集 collects his poetic and prose corpus). His Buddhist commentary on the Vajracchedikā, Jīngāng jīng zhíshuō (KR6c0084, X25 no. 496), survives in the Xùzàngjīng. Modern scholarship: Yáng Quán 楊權, “成鹫及其《咸陟堂集》” — the standard study.
