Jiè 戒

Northern-Sòng Yúnmén-school Chán master conventionally styled Wǔzǔ Jiè 五祖戒 after his abbacy at Wǔzǔ shān 五祖山 in Qízhōu — the same seat later occupied by Wǔzǔ 法演 Fǎyǎn of the Línjì line. Cited as one of the conventional commentarial voices judging old cases in the Dìwáng wèndào lù selection of Xiānjué zōngshèng (KR6q0052).
