Dài Gǔsūn 戴谷蓀 (d. c. 1933), Republican-era literatus-physician originally from Xiūníng 休寧 (Huīzhōu / Anhui), relocated to Tàixīng Jìjiāshì 泰興季家市 (JiāngSū) and finally to Tōngzhōu 通州 (Nántōng). Confucian zhūshēng 諸生 (licentiate); accomplished poet (compared to Zhào Yì 趙翼) and painter in the SìWáng 四王 Qīng-orthodox tradition. Medical talent discovered only late in life, after a striking clinical-acumen episode at a Tōngzhōu lodging-house. Arrived in Tōngzhōu in Gēngwǔ 庚午 = 1930. Author of Gǔsūn yīhuà 谷蓀醫話 (KR3eq074) — preserved through the 1937–1939 Sino-Japanese war by his friend “Chùān” 觸庵 (evacuated to Shanghai). Son: 蓉生 Róngshēng. Not in CBDB.
