Wénbèi 文備

Tang Buddhist monk; member of 玄奘 Xuánzàng’s translation committee at Hóngfúsì 弘福寺 in Cháng’ān, named in 智光 Chikō’s Nara-period Bōrě xīnjīng shùyì (KR6c0196) translation-history section as one of the committee that produced Xuánzàng’s Heart Sūtra translation (Zhēnguān 19 = 645).
