A Qīng-era Chán master, dharma-name Pǔnéng 普能, compound name with Sōng 嵩 (likely a reference to Sōngshān 嵩山 monastery). Author of the 《普能嵩禪師淨土詩》 Pǔnéng Sōng chánshī jìngtǔ shī KR6p0133 (X1215), a seven-character-regulated verse-cycle on Pure Land themes recorded by his disciple 德潤 Dérùn. The verses indicate a Chán-Pure Land integrationist (chánjìng shuāngxiū 禪淨雙修) practitioner active in a Liánshè 蓮社 / fǎhuì 法會 devotional-assembly setting. Lifedates and native place not preserved.
