Southern-Sòng Tiāntái master, native of Qián-táng 錢唐 (Hángzhōu). Dharma-heir of Qí-yù 齊玉 of the Shàng-tiān-zhú-sì 上天竺寺 (the great Tiāntái centre at Hángzhōu); resided at the Huì-jiě-sì 慧解寺, hence his alternate appellation Huì-jiě Tán-yìng 慧解曇應. Active mid-twelfth century: his principal extant work, Jīn-gāng jīng cǎi-wēi 金剛經采微 (KR6c0052), carries a preface dated Shàoxīng rén-zǐ 紹興壬子 (1132) composed at the Sī-xī Lán-ruò 思溪蘭若 in Hú-zhōu (the seat of the Sī-xī Tripiṭaka workshop), and was revised at Bái-yún Ān 白雲菴 in Lóngxīng guǐ-wèi 隆興癸未 (1163). His Tiāntái re-reading of the Vajracchedikā Prajñāpāramitā-sūtra survives as a closely-bound trilogy in the Xù-zàng-jīng: the kē outline (KR6c0051), the main commentary (KR6c0052), and the supplementary yú-shì (KR6c0053).
