Tánmójuéduō 曇摩崛多 (Skt. Dharmagupta “Protected by the Dharma”; also written 曇摩掘多; DILA Authority A001797) was a Buddhist monk-translator of the Yao Qin (姚秦, 384–417 CE) period. He collaborated with Dharmayaśas 曇摩耶舍 (曇摩耶舍) on the translation of the Śāriputrābhidharma 舍利弗阿毘曇論 (KR6l0013, T1548), the canonical Abhidharma text of the Dharmaguptaka school. His precise dates and further biographical details are not recorded.
Note: This monk should not be confused with the earlier translator Dharmagupta (Tánmójùduō 曇摩笈多), a distinct figure active in the Northern Qi.
