Manase Gensaku 曲直瀨玄朔 (Chinese: Qūzhíshài Xuánshuò, 1549–1632), Azuchi-Momoyama / early-Edo Japanese physician. Adopted heir and principal successor of 曲直瀨道三 Manase Dōsan; carried the Manase-school Goseihō tradition into the early Tokugawa period. Wrote prefaces and editorial conventions for several later Edo printings of his master’s Yàoxìng néngdú 藥性能毒 (KR3ec076) and other Manase-school medical works. Japanese physician; not in CBDB.
