Mid-Qiánlóng official, classical scholar, and editor; native of Jiādìng 嘉定 (modern Shànghǎi). Zì Láiyīn 來殷; hào Xí’ān 習庵. Took the jìnshì in Qiánlóng 26 (1761) and entered the Hanlin Academy. Member of the editorial board of the imperial Sìkù quánshū and one of the principal working editors of the Qiánlóng-era Shítōng continuations: Xù Wénxiàn Tōngkǎo (KR2m0014), Xù Tōngdiǎn (KR2m0016), and the parallel Xù Tōngzhì. His own work is the Qīshíèr fēng cǎo táng wénjí 七十二峰艸堂文集. He died in service in Qiánlóng 52 (1787); CBDB gives the dates 1731–1787, followed here.
