Early Qīng-dynasty Shànghǎi 上海 editor and bibliophile. In Kāngxī guǐsì 癸巳 (1713) he prepared a re-edited and re-collated version of Ní Zàn 倪瓚’s collected works as the Qīngmìgé quánjí 清閟閣全集 in 12 juǎn — augmenting from earlier recensions: the 1460 Jiǎn Xī Tiānshùn print, the Wànlì re-cut by Ní’s eighth-generation descendant Ní Chéng 倪珵 (in 15 juǎn, by then much damaged), and Máo Jìn 毛晉’s Jígǔgé shí Yuánrén jí recension. He further drew on Zhū Cúnlǐ 朱存理’s Lóujū zázhù — which had collected scattered pieces, particularly from Ní’s Wú travels — adding an Wài jí (Outer Collection) of one juǎn. The Sìkù WYG Qīngmìgé jí (KR4d0576) is the Cáo Péilián recension, the most comprehensive NíZàn collected-works edition through the Qīng period. The catalog meta records his function as 編 (compiler) for this work.
