Zhū Quán 朱權 (1378–1448), 17th son of Míng Tài zǔ, enfeoffed as Prince Níng 寧王. A polymath prince active in literature, music, drama, chess, military strategy, and Daoism; a leading mid-Míng literary figure and Daoist practitioner. Author of KR5h0053 Tiān huáng zhì dào tài qīng yù cè 天皇至道太清玉冊 — his major Daoist doctrinal-ritual compendium.
