Lǐ Zhīyí 李之儀 (c. 1048–c. 1117), Duānshū 端叔, hào Gūxī jūshì 姑溪居士, of Cāngzhōu 滄州 (or Lèshòu 樂壽 / Jǐngchéng 景城; the Sìkù tíyào diagnoses the Sòng shǐ error). Jìnshì of Yuánfēng. Yuányòu 1 (1086) appointed Shūmìyuàn biānxiūguān, then Tōngpàn Yuánzhōu. In Yuánfú (1098–1100) made Jiān nèi xiāngyào kù (Inspector of the Inner Aromatic-Drug Storehouse). After serving in Sū Shì 蘇軾’s 蘇軾 mùfǔ, was impeached by censor Shí Yù 石豫 and dismissed. Chóngníng 1 (1102) made Tíjǔ Hédōng chángpíng; for drafting Fàn Chúnrén 范純仁’s posthumous memorial in too-direct terms, offending Cài Jīng, was biānguǎn (registered-and-confined) at Tàipíngzhōu (Dāngtú 當塗, in Gūxī 姑溪) — whence his hào. Author of the Gūxī jūshì qiánjí 姑溪居士前集 KR4d0110 in 50 juǎn and hòují in 20 juǎn; one of the Sūmén secondary literary network. The Yáng Wànlǐ Chéngzhāi shīhuà and Wáng Míngqīng Huīzhǔ hòulù both record Lǐ’s chángduǎn jù (lyrics) — particularly his “Wǒ zhù Chángjiāng tóu, jūn zhù Chángjiāng wěi” — as among the most-loved of the period. CBDB confirms fl. 1085–1102; lifedates 1048–1117 are best-supported. Biography: Sòng shǐ j. 444.
