Lǐ Zōngè 李宗諤 ( Chāngwǔ 昌武, 964–1012), Northern Sòng scholar-official, son of the great early-Sòng chancellor and bibliophile Lǐ Fǎng 李昉 (925–996, principal compiler of the Tàipíng yùlǎn and Tàipíng guǎngjì). Native of Shēnzhōu Ráoyáng 深州饒陽 (modern Héběi). Jìnshì of Yōngxī 雍熙 2 (985). He held a long string of cultural offices culminating in Hànlín xuéshì 翰林學士 and Cízhèngdiàn xuéshì 資政殿學士. He was one of the most prolific Sòng-period editors of court literary and ritual projects, and his hand is visible in numerous early Sòng compendia. The Daozang gazetteer Lóngruìguàn Yǔxué Yángmíng dòngtiān tújīng KR5b0309 preserves a heading attributing the work’s xiūdìng 修定 (revision and finalisation) to him in his Hànlín xuéshì capacity, which would place the original recension before his 1012 death; the work was later revised again by 葉樞 in 1114. Biography in Sòngshǐ j. 265. CBDB id 3541 gives 965–1013, slightly off from the standard 964–1012 in Sòngshǐ — the latter is followed here.
