Lǐ Fù 李復 (fl. Yuánfēng 1079– Chóngníng), Lǚzhōng 履中, ancestrally of Kāifēng Xiángfú 開封祥符 but resettled in Chángān 長安 (Shǎnxī) following his father’s appointment in Guānyòu. Jìnshì of Yuánfēng 2 / 1079; reached XīHé zhuǎnyùnshǐ (Fiscal Intendant of the XīHé circuit) and ultimately Zhōngdàfū jíxiándiàn xiūzhuàn. As a xībiān shǐzhě (envoy on the western frontier) in Shàoshèng he was a noted military-administrative specialist; long resident on the frontier, his memorial-prose handles military and frontier affairs with unusual fluency. Author of Juéshuǐ jí 潏水集 KR4d0111 originally in 40 juǎn. Met Zhāng Zǎi 張載 張載 in his youth — preserved in the Juéshuǐ jí. Sòng shǐ has no biography of him; sources are Hóng Mài 洪邁’s Róngzhāi suíbǐ and Zhū Xī’s yǔlù. The Sìkù tíyào notes Zhū Xī’s slip of attributing him to Mǐn 閩 (Fújiàn) — Lǐ Fù was not from Fújiàn.
