Lǐ Zǔyáo 李祖堯, xuéshì (Academician, late Sòng), pupil of Sūn Dí 孫覿 孫覿 and editor-and-annotator of Sūn’s letter-collection Nèijiǎn chǐdú 內簡尺牘 KR4d0180 in 10 juǎn. CBDB does not preserve clear lifedates for him.
The Sìkù editors specifically praise Lǐ’s annotation as superior to other late-imperial commentary owing to his personal contact with Sūn — comparable in this respect to Rén Yuān 任淵’s annotation of Chén Shīdào and Huáng Tíngjiān (where Rén had personal contact). The Sìkù editors also note that Lǐ’s annotation often draws on Sūn’s own poetry-and-prose for cross-reference, and these citations preserve material missing from the surviving Hóngqìng jūshì jí recension.
