Lǐ Chōng 李翀 (fl. 14th cent.; CBDB id 268684) was a late-Yuán / early-Míng literatus. Sòng shǐ and Yuán shǐ have no biography for him. His one surviving work is the Rì wén lù 日聞錄 (KR3j0139) in 1 juàn, which records events of Zhìzhèng jiǎchén (1364) and bǐngwǔ (1366) — placing the author in the YuánMíng transition (about a year or two before Hóngwǔ 1 = 1368). In the book he still calls the Yuán “guócháo” (Our Dynasty), placing him among the yí lǎo (Yuán loyalists). Huáng Yújì’s Qiānqǐngtáng shūmù gives the author as Líng Chōng 凌翀; one entry-attribution in the Yǒnglè dàdiǎn also gives the author as Líng Chōng; the Sìkù editors retain the Lǐ Chōng attribution as in the majority of Yǒnglè dàdiǎn entries, while noting the Líng variant.
