Lǐ Xùn 李迅 (zì Sìlì 嗣立, fl. late Southern Sòng), Sòng-period physician of Quánzhōu 泉州 (Fújiàn). Held the office of Dàlǐ píngshì 大理評事 (Court Examiner) and was famous as a physician. Author of the Jíyàn bèijū fāng 集驗背疽方 (KR3e0042) — a specialist Southern-Sòng treatise on back-and-shoulder furuncles (背疽 bèijū, a serious and frequently fatal class of suppurative infection) in 1 juan, with 53 entries each carrying both theoretical discussion and prescription. The Mǎ Duānlín Wénxiàn tōngkǎo erroneously gives the author’s personal name as 逸 (“Yì”) rather than the correct 迅 (“Xùn”); the SKQS editors note this and correct on the basis of Guō Yìngxiáng 郭應祥’s preface preserved in the Yǒnglè dàdiǎn recovery. Beyond the Jíyàn bèijū fāng and his Court-Examiner office, Lǐ Xùn has no transmitted biographical record.
