Lín Zǐcháng 林子長 (fl. mid-13th c.)
Hào Bǐfēng 筆峯. Native of Mǐn (Fújiàn). A jīngxué jiàoyù 京學教諭 (instructor at the capital school) of the late Southern Sòng who annotated and supplied gloss for the Lùnxué shéngchǐ 論學繩尺 KR4h0056 compiled by Wèi Tiānyīng 魏天應. Lín’s annotations distil the Yuányòu through Xiánchún examination-essay tradition into a model-essay handbook with formal categories (pòtí, jiētí, xiǎojiǎng, dàjiǎng, rùtí, yuántí) — the proto-form of the later MíngQīng bāgǔ wén eight-legged essay structure. No further biographical detail recoverable; no CBDB entry.
