Lín Tūn 林焞, zì Bǐngshū 炳叔, of Níngdé 寧德 in Fújiàn. Jìnshì of Chúnxī 8 (xīnchǒu, 1181) — the same district, same school, same examination year as 王宗傳 Wáng Zōngchuán. Later magistrate of Kāihuàxiàn 開化縣 in Qúzhōu 衢州. Wrote the Kāixǐ 1 (1205) preface to Wáng Zōngchuán’s Tóngxī Yì zhuàn 童溪易傳 (KR1a0047) at the request of Wáng Zōngchuán’s clansman 王䮐 Wáng Yú. The preface — preserved at the head of the surviving recension — is the principal source for Wáng Zōngchuán’s biographical detail, including the fùlíngzhě 負苓者 anecdote and the xìng běn wú shuō doctrinal formula.
