Mid-Qīng official, zì Jiēpíng 階平, hào Yáofēng 瑤峰, of Huìjī 會稽 (Shàoxīng, Zhèjiāng). jìnshì Qiánlóng 13 (1748), 一甲第一名 (top-rank first-place — the zhuàngyuán). Distinguished career through the Hànlín to Dōnggé Dàxuéshì and Hùbù shàngshū; supervised the Sìkù quánshū compilation as a senior Sìkùguǎn zǒngcái. Posthumous title 文定. CBDB cbdbId 55817, lifedates 1723–1786. The principal-named compiler of the imperial Qīndìng yīnyùn shùwēi KR1j0077 (Qiánlóng 38 / 1773 commission, presented Qiánlóng 51 / 1786), the late-Qián-lóng follow-up to the Yīnyùn chǎnwēi KR1j0074. Liáng Guózhì died the year of presentation; the imperial preface dating it to “Qiánlóng 30” in the catalog meta is a probable mis-dating — the work was actually commissioned 1773 and completed 1786 (per the Sìkù tíyào citation of “Qiánlóng 38 commission”).
