Liáng Yù 梁玉, Qīng-period scholar-official of Lóngquán 龍泉 (Zhèjiāng). Jìnshì of the Ministry of Rites (Lǐbù jìnshì 禮部進士), bearer of the wénlínláng 文林郎 honorific (a 7th-grade civil rank), and hòuxuǎn xiànyǐn 候選縣尹 (Magistrate Designate, awaiting appointment). He prefaced Chén Fùzhèng 陳復正’s Yòuyòu jíchéng 幼幼集成 (KR3ej013) c. 1750. His preface, in its informal biographical sketch of Chén’s Daoist-physician life and his contrast of medical yì (intuitive grasp) with fāngshū (prescription-text learning), is one of the more biographically informative documents on Chén Fùzhèng.
