Yáng Zhìyuǎn 楊智遠, Daoist of the Xiāntánguàn 仙壇觀 (the local Méixiānguàn 梅仙觀 at Nánqílǐ, Xuānfēng township, Fēngchéng 豐城 county, Jiāngxī), compiler of the Méixiānguàn jì 梅仙觀記 KR5b0305 in the late thirteenth century — Schipper & Verellen (Taoist Canon 2: 909) date the work to ca. 1296. He is the temple custodian responsible for assembling the shìshí 事實 (biographical narrative of Méi Fú 梅福), local cult lore, surviving Sòng imperial-investiture documents (including Yuánfēng 元豐 5/1082 and Shàoxīng 紹興 2/1132 decrees), and Tang-period commemorative steles (notably Luó Yǐn’s 梅先生碑) into a single shrine-gazetteer. No further biographical details are recorded; he is identified only by his temple affiliation in his compilation.
