Chén-dynasty official (516–587), holding the office of Shàngshūlìng 尚書令 (Secretariat Director). Named in the editorial framing to the Xiǎo zhǐguān (KR6d0143) as the patron whose request prompted 智顗 Zhìyǐ to produce the Bùdìng zhǐguān 不定止觀 / Liùmiào fǎmén (KR6d0145, T1917) in one juan.
